huaqing SG i am very poor...so can only afford Sony Ericsson K700i... if u take pictures with it during the day when there is light it is still okay but if u take at night then a lot of white dots will just come out for no reason...making the image damn blur...so that is why i hate k700i sometimes lah... are digital cams nowadays cheap ar? can someone PM me and tell me what is the common price range of digital cams nowadays? thx..
kopiosatu SG the white dot is called noise. well if you don't have those white dots, you won't be able to see any image at all when its dark. how cheap a digicam is depends on your budget.
ellisbeck SG Hi all, Here's the camera model I am using - Nikon Coolpix 8800. Still an amateur and I don't want to spend too much on lenses so I am sticking to using a prosumer camera.

ellisbeck SG The vibration reduction serves me well, though the constant jiggling sound that is caused needs to get use to. You may want to read the review at http://www.asia.cnet.com/reviews/digitalcameras/0,39001468,39215464-39074824p,00.htm Caution though.. The camera is no longer in production, I heard.. And if you want to use filters, you cannot get them off the shelf because of the unique size of the camera lens. I had to order through Best Denki and am still waiting for the arrival of the filters..
the Bear SG it's okay.. a visit to Sony fixed the camera if it dies, i'll go eat grass for a year and get a D70
