maurizio13 SG Don't think it's that safe to visit Thailand for the moment, especially after they impose marshall law, the punishment for crimes under marshall law is much harsher. I mean you could mistakenly take an item out of shop without paying, who knows what form of punishment will be mete out.

ditzy SG I remembered last year I booked my trip already, then 3 weeks later the coup came about. I nearly had to forego and forfeit everything. Took the risk and carried on. Then on the day itself my flight was delayed 4 hours. Half my day was spent at changi airport. I said its ok, I will make another trip there earlier this year. Then this had to come about. ok that's it. No more.

bangkokboy SG Anyway the airport is a project by Mr. Thaksin, the very person wanted for corruption in Thailand. He was accused of corruption involving the airport. The very man that forumers are defending. The level of corruption had reached a point whereby people cannot turn a blind eye to it anymore.
