I think herein is the whole mess in Palestine in a
nutshell.
The Hamas PM goes around the Arab World to raise funds.
When he returns, he is stopped at an Israeli checkpoint because he
has a crapload of cash on him. After a while, he was allowed to
enter.
Then all hell breaks loose when he wades into a firefight between
Hamas and Fatah.
One of his bodyguards is killed and his son is hit in the face, but
he gets away.
Just a while ago, he was on TV, ranting about how they will have
vengence, how the US will be defeated in Iraq (huh??), and he
accuses Fatah of plotting to assassinate him in that
incident.
The PM then goes on to rant that the Palestinians are united and
will prevail against external enemies and that all external enemies
will be killed.
Then Fatah denies that it was them at the firefight.
All the while, the whole of Palestine is turned into a free-for-all
fight by the factions when Hamas supporters fight Fatah
supporters.
I think even if Israel disappeared right now, and that the whole of
the bloody Middle East was given to them, they'd still reduce it to
cinders if they could.
I would say that all they want is violence. They have no plans, no
goals, nothing except the "destruction of Israel".
