When talking about market forces deciding the renumeration,,
were referring to jobs in private sector which require high
qualifications.
Referring to low wage workers, if you work, then you shouldn't be
poor, there must be a minimum wage. A job should keep you out of
poverty, not keep you in it.
SGD300 is a starving wage. A single man could get by with $10 for 3
meals a day, provided he get a license to live in a trailer outside
parliament house and use its public toilet to clean himself for
free. Even if government will take good care of him when hes old,
what kind of life is that?
