A young doctor once got beaten up, the police refuse to investigate
and aprehend the assailants, even when the assailants were
identified.
The doctor was told to take civil action and sue the
assailants.
The police considered the assault a private matter.
They only took action when the doctor complained to the police
higher ranks and wrote to the papers.
There are many fighting cases, where the police arrive and warn the
combatants to stop and not create more ruckus, or else they will
arrest them, for disobeying a police officer!
