Even as the government invites the younger post 65 MPs to speak
up with passions and reasons, it is clear that it is all the
farce.
The smarter MPs could see it from past experiences to those MPs who
are more objective but eventually are dropped from another term or
greater advancements.
So in my opinion it is still very much a power game. It is not the
speeches or reasons that count. It is how one pretends to go along
and make tempered and moderate speeches who will eventually be the
winners for their own advancements.
So forget about the major policy errors or major causes of the
present state of divide within the society.
Maliki is right - people have to play their part so that government
can change for the better.
MPs are powerless in power game - it is too strong for them to be
objective or disagree.
So those who praise the system will soon be recognized and win
personal advancements and more rewards.
