P2P takes up bandwith and may infect the whole school network
with viruses and what nots. That's why they are blocked.
For those idiots who circumvent school's rules and used P2P, you
are being inconsiderate. In turn, you are infecting your own PC or
laptop and passing those viruses around, affecting your school
mates and teachers as well. I know this very well, I have seen way
too many schools being affected the same way.
The recent influx of spywares affecting students and teachers are
due to those who found their way out.
It's up to the school to decide what websites they want to block.
If you feel the websites shouldn't be blocked, just contact your
school.
P2P is out of the question. No room for negotiation.
