Singapore political system is so effective that any decisions can
be quickly discussed and decided into law in parliament, with the
media helping to spread it to the people. Very efficient, seriously
it is one of the best asset of Singapore.
Any discussions can be quickly discussed and decided into
law...dicussed among who? among the people? or among the elites
circle themselves? same for the media? who do they stand for and
what do they stand for in s'pore? best asserts of singapore gahmen
u mean
In other countries, the debate and process take so long, when the
law is finally passed, the condition change already. For instance a
fiscal incentive package will be so late that it can actually cause
inflation when introduced.
debates taking long doesn;t always necessarily mean a bad
thing, it means there are more transparencies and considerations
taking place and being noted. and causing inflation when
introduced..? well that depends on what the bill is and if it
really did caused an inflation it only shows the inefficiencies of
the nicompoops in the gahmen in the first place.
You have to recognize the Singapore political system and its
present condition is actually very desirable. Dictatorship? I dont
think this word carry justice. Perhaps I should say, benevolent
dictatorship, for the lack of better word.
desirable to you maybe, if the word dictatorship isn;t
the right word, i dun know what is...? benevolent dictatorship?
never heard of it
you have your opinions and i have the right to mine
