freakass...your chicken rice analogy is silly. Let me ask you
this, your family wants to eat MacDonalds, but you wanna eat BK.
lets say your family got 5 ppl. now 4 vs.1, will you go buy BK and
sit in MacDonalds to eat? No right...simple logic, you may wish to
go, but your family ad friends? Not to mention the bonds which
you've established here over the years, how would you feel? Talk
with some sense...i'm not an academic, but a really practical
person. We grumble, complain in the HOPE that someday this will
change. I dare say that I do not have brass ones the size of Chee
Soon Juan's and will never dare to stand up like him. But hell, he
just wants to get heard. For the govt. has publicly claim that we
are transparent and stuff, doesn't it already reflect that things
aren't as simple as they seem?
Yes, you may say that if you don't like it here, you may just pack
up and you will gladly send us away, but LOOK THIS WAY. WE HAVE
EVERY RIGHT TO BE HERE BECAUSE WE ARE BORN AND BRED HERE. Tell the
foreign talent to defend our families and friends when the 1st
round flies over our heads, tell the foreign talent to keep us
save. Will they?NO! We stay because we've pledge allegiance to this
state, and by state, I don't mean the government, but the country.
Every single soverign inch of it. Many of us will be willing to
bleed just so our flag remains red and our family and friends are
safe. If the govt. choose to see people who are against them to be
a threat, I suppose there's not much left in the SAF and SPF to
defend what we have. The point I'll re-emphasied for your sake is
this "Its not simply a choice of moving, but because we have real
factors to think of, such as our friends, relatives and also will
we be treated as 2nd class citizens if we move to else where?" A
tree that has been uprooted may not necessary have a higher chance
of survival then one which has been living in the arid desert
despite the harsh conditions. Do think about this.
