Can Singaporeans follow
'HK and Taiwanese less
complain and more action' ?
Unlike Singaporeans, and fortunately for the 'HK and Taiwanese',
they are not subject to the threats of the Internal Security Act
- which basically will lock up anyone without trial, and its review
is subject to a committee of individuals 'supposedly independent', and with the
'final arbiter' being the
Home Affairs Minister - (a Elite Executive Committee Member from
the Ruling Political Party).
Singaporean are living in a political environment that is as bad as
the Chinese Citizens living in the Communist China - where the PRC
Citizen has no political rights, and any PRC Citizen who dare
challenge the State publicly, will be locked up without trial, and
subject to psychological
treatment'.
Singaporeans have 'either
protest' in the various forums and blogs, and will never
'shut up'. Some have also
left the country as they have the money to do so and have no
psychological ties in Singapore.
'Kopitiam uncles have alot to
talk' because all they can afford is just the 'kopi, kaya toast and egg' - and they
cannot afford to run away after having contributed so much to
Singapore.
They have lived through life alot more than you could possibly
know, which explains why they have so much to talk about; and your
impertinance simply show your immaturity and hollow mind in not
being able to accept the views of another persons who knows more
than you do.
The POWER OF ONE had the same attitude as you, but will not say so,
and have previously branded all those who have left as 'QUITTERS'.
Do you realise that the Singapore Government have suddenly realised
that Singaporeans who left are the ones whom they should have
retained - as these Singaporeans are less dependant on any
authority to support them.
Yet these Singaporeans who migrated became even more successful and
resourceful in being able to achieve their goals - as they lived in
an environment that has less government control.
An environment similar to that which the 'HK and Taiwanese'
are exposed to.
Unfortunately, can you know anythiing about such an 'open environment',
when all you see is what the Singapore Government want you to see -
only the dark and unruly side of an 'Open Society'
?
