foomwee88 SG In the years of 1980s,we paid S$0.15 bus fare 4 the feeder bus 2 our flat and now I paid S$0.90 for the three bus stops when my car was under repair.W/in 20 yrs, bus fare shoot up 600% but my dear graduates' salary remained the same as me in 1980s. How our next generation survive,worst still with these influx of so called FTs bring down the average Sporeans ' income!!!!
mistyblue SG That would never happen my friend! There are lots of people whose hearts are easily changed by some short-term freebies that they willingly sell their future. There are also lots of people whose life is driven by fear that they cannot think of a singapore with out the current "best" system
hisoka SG if i read the news right, they have a very interesting reason to increase the fares, which is that the economy is doing well. so the only reasont hey need to increase the fares is whether the rich pple( who mostly drive btw) can afford it?
mistyblue SG yeah man... we are always told after the decision was made that the policy/hike/etc will happen. All these things are usually pre-approved.
