Between a cricket bat and a baseball stick, the baseball stick is too obviously aggressive compared to a cricket bat, which is not exactly lightweight. A couple of baseballs, cricket balls or golf balls will be good - only if you are good with your throws. If you are not exactly too inclined into sports, but a keen gardener, you could keep an extendable hoe in your car - but you need to be good at 'shaolin long spear kungfu' before using such an equipment.
SilverPal SG Something for me to think about. I've had my fair share of facing road rage. I don't think I handled it well though. I look very young and most drivers assume they can bully me into submission. Maybe I should take up cricket or golf.
serene0 SG I'm surprised for the 2nd case, the police couldn't do much, though it may have been due to lack of witnesses. However, the police could at least have helped to investigate further than let those bullies off. They are a danger to other road users. I do not think that they are any better than killers. As a road user myself, I do hope the traffic police can educate the public on road courtesy one way or another, or at least put up a reasonable punishment for road bullies. Fines seem way too easy for them. Everyone seems to be able to afford it anyway. Looks like the road safety campaigns are not very much helpful either. I do get alot of uncouth drivers showing me rude gestures when in fact sometimes they are in the wrong - some drivers also look as if they wanted to mimick the fast and furious series and starts tailgating other road users at speeds over the limits. Some can overtake me abruptly and then jammed their brakes within inches in front of me, some can drive very close to me and look at me as if I killed their whole family. Vulgarities almost always follow. So much for education. The worse is, for petty offences you will have many who are always ready to catch you, whereas in dangerous situations when you really need someone to help, no one seems to be there.
redstone SG Now I know if a gang beats up some guys, they need to seek magistrate, if not, the gang can randomly beat up as many people as they like and legally they are not wrong.
