mhcampboy SG he is just being cranky. he tot tat went he quit....GOV would make a SM post for him. but realise....he is out of politics already. he must be thinking.... if only i place my children in high ranks in army and then place them in ministerial post..... alas...all is too late.
gd4u SG lol, how comes it sounds so familiar. I think he is just getting attention and feeling very pissed off that the brigde got scrapped. I heard he may be charged under OSA... I really hope so, that would shave off a few pages off the newspapers ...
mhcampboy SG if i were him...i just migrate elsewhere with the money tat he has. enjoy retirement. but then again... he is after all has brought malaysia to greater heights. i think he still feel attach to it..
laurence82 SG Badawi seems like a much more rational guy At the very least, he recognises that Malaysia is facing a financial problems and is pulling off some of the redundant but expensive projects and clamping down on corruptions.
Atobe SG Is it not odd that the Malaysian Government had once said that the New Bridge to replace the Causeway will be MYR 1 Billion; and now the compensation to the Contractor will be MYR100 Million for cancelling the bridge project ? The MYR100 Million compensation is about Ten Percent of the Project Price of MYR 1 Billion. No wonder, MM is fuming at the cancellation of the Project and the Ten Percent has now to be paid by the Government.
the Bear SG thing is, who made the crappy decision to go with the bridge? it would have been pointless and a total waste of money... maybe pak lah would rather throw away 100mio than throw away 1bio and get laughed at? methinks Dr.M has more than just "pride" at stake...
ditzy SG Actually come to thinkof it, he has always been cranky, but it went a few notches up after his retirement.
sbst275 SG He's likely wanting to make a comeback The bridge saga, shows he wanted to retire early and give all the prob to Abdullah to settle... Simply he knew of the complications
Fatum SG politicians have this latent fear of being irrelevant .... the chap sees anwar being released and winning lawsuits, his former underlings all turning from him or being ejected from the ruling ranks, of course he's afraid ... he's afraid that he may one day be cast as the bad guy ... their egos also seem to swell with age, and they start mumbling nonsense .... it's just the rumblings of an old man refusing to let go ... but just watch ... he'll run proton to the ground before he's done ...
sbst275 SG His projects hardly succeeded His vision of Johor to compete with Singapore has taken a back step
the Bear SG he's probably sick to the teeth that he didn't pull a Lau Lee and declared himself "Senior Minister"
Fatum SG it's just in-fighting among their ranks lah ... Badawi's number two (and the next prime minister in waiting) is Mahatir's man ... and quite anti Singapore ... this whole bridge circus is just one of their battlegrounds ... we've always been the convenient whipping boy remember ? ...
