It is those who conceitedly

In the face of cheaper competition from China and India, did
Germany waver and shut down these well known makes of the
traditional color and writing pencils ?

Employers are not as sily as you are. They will not hire foreigners
just because they are foreign but because they are cheaper or
possess higher skills than Singaporeans. Those who have higher
skills do not have a problem getting a job. For those whose skills
are no better but expect higher wages than their foreign
counterparts, unless you protect their jobs, they will go to
foreigners.

the hopeless lack of Singapore entrepreneurs, when we have in our
midst educated persons who are too conceited to admit their own
lack of confidence, and will have the audacity to give empty

Do we need to despair if the day comes when China will supply us
with coffins, when we have no trees of our own ?
Is there anything that the POWER OF ONE has done that has helped
Singaporeans to lead a better life other then useless slogans -
such as the Swiss Standard of Living ?
Singapore will soon be the laughing stock of Asia, when
Singaporeans live out the remaining time in overseas Retirement
Villages from our left-over CPF savings, while this Government
squander our National Reserves in the vast numbers of foreign
investments, that draw from our National Reserves to benefit the
development of other countries.
Some of these investments cover range from bakeries in India; to
Industrial Parks in China, Indonesia and Vietnam; to Real Estates
all over the globe; to taking small stakes in major banks in China,
India, Indonesia, Thailand; small stakes in Regional
Airlines.
For our present predicament faced locally, we will have to thank
the conceit of learned professionals such as the self-proclaimed
resident Doctor, who will blindly lick up every drop of saliva that
accompany the superfluous statements spewed from the POWER OF
