CSJ born in the wrong country ?
He is probably born in the RIGHT COUNTRY to knock some changes into
a country that has become a bedrock of PETTY POLITICS to protect
the POWER OF ONE, while the entire Singapore population look
one-side and allow the POWER OF ONE to continue abusing
Singaporeans at will.
Where is the Singaporean Conscience when the personality of a
Mentor can shout accusation at a fellow Singaporean that he is
"a Liar", and continue to
taunt the fellow Singaporean to sue the Mentor for the bad
publicity that was purposefully created ?
Where is the Singaporean Conscience when we remain silent and
cowed, while the POWER OF ONE utilise all its powers to shut down
and seize personal assets of any Singaporean who dare to pose a
serious political challenge to the supremacy of the POWER OF ONE
?
Have we forgotten the likes of Chia Thye Poh, Dr Lee Siew Choh, JB
Jeyaratnam, Tang Liang Hong, Francis Seow ?
While we may not be in any position to challenge the POWER OF ONE,
and may NOT even be inclined to speak out in public, let alone put
it in writing in a Private Forum, the least decency that we should
expect from the Singaporean Conscience is not to forget the efforts
of those other Singaporeans who tried to represent our interests to
make a better Singapore.
We may all have diifferent political principles, and believe in
different approach to politics, surely there must be some common
ground in political morales ?
Can conscientious judgment be so one-sided that we will blindly
accept the bullying and abuses to the Singapore System by the POWER
OF ONE - simply to perpetuate itself ?
Throughout the legal history of Singapore Justices presiding over
political cases, no judge has ever disqualified himself from
hearing a case, and this time around it happened in the present
hearing of the
Chee's Siblings Challenge to the
Constitutionality of Summary Judgment in Defamation
Cases".
Over the last forty years, even JBJ had failed countless times
requested judges to disqualify themselves from dealing with JBJ's
cases, as those judges were deemed to be associated too close to
the POWER OF ONE to be neutral in any manner.
