vanlorry SG

Yea and u shld move ahead wif the society and not remain in the 1990s Laughing

blazon SG

I'm really surprised why
PAP Teo Chee Hean in Pasir Ris get less votes
than Mah Bow Tan in Tampines.

Morever, Pasir Ris oppostions really super rookie.

iveco SG

TCH screwed up the education system during his tenure @ MoE, that's why.

all in all, after this hoo-hah, taxes will rise, transport fees will rise, but wages will remain the same. these pappy puppets will complain and whine about high costs of living and the struggle to survive. but come next elections, pappy boys will dangle stale carrots again to ensure continuity. see, if there're no problems, there'd be no carrot to dangle. so then, the pappy puppets will continue to support the pappy boys because "they believe". its all a bloody vicious cycle. it will not end till some of these brainwashed bozos wake up their bloody ideas.

however, u cant blame some of them. coz some of them are actually "elites" or been living comfortably their whole lives. so why change right? they don't care about high costs of living or such. they're just worried they might lose their comfort zone if a "less credible" party comes into power.

the wp van was circling around my anchorvale area (AMK GRC) to give their thanks although they didn't win. i was truly touched by their spirit. as i thought PM Lee think his 66% is so BIG and he is our "BIG" PM and this great guy wouldnt do what wp did under the hot sun. and of course the wonderful rally experiences WP give us. many thanks!

Note: PM Lee might be at home sleeping Laughing

Many of the problems we have are results of past mistakes.
And this rises question on the capabilities of some of our leaders,
and also the system.

WP Rocks!!... Razz

vanlorry SG

So u're saying they SHOULD NOT increase for e.g the bus fares..ERP and other costs for the next 10-20 yrs ?

MS SG

Do you all think the 10% increase everywhere for opposition except for SDP is actually made up of the young and english educated voters? Or do you all have a different view?

ray243 SG

why not? How do you even know? Moreover post-65ers are only 40% of voters…

fymk SG

At least I won't need to worry about foreign talents taking my job away since I am the foreign talent now or worry about spending my elderly years working at macdonalds.

AND AT LEAST IN THE FUTURE, IF I HAVE SONS - THEy WON't BE giving up their LIVES to protect FOREIGN investments/Property

EXCO SG

A lot of people here are not comparing demographics, instead they are comparing issues which of course would mean "price hikes" and "no life Singapore".

The people of Singapore has spoken. 66.6% for PAP is a strong mandate for the new Parliament looking at previous years. Bottom line? Voting is over. Don't bank on saying people sold themselves out to PAP or whatnot. Its the people's choice.

Don't be sore.

ditzy SG

If you come to think of it, GCT also abit on the anti side, dunno he purposely one or what especially for this election, or is it old age taking its dues? Laughing

rpm SG

thanks for the welcome.
You said that 'Give them 10-20 seats, and i can assure u, our opposition parties will have a field day trying to oppose just for the sake of oppose, and then claim that they are asking these questions on behalf of the pple.'
How do you know this will happen? Has it been proven in Singapore?
If this happen, you can still vote them out at the next election, right?

For the upgrading affair, you said nothing is fair in this world. Does that mean that we have to accept it? Is like when you see someone got rob or beaten, you say...yeah, nothing is fair, so have to accept it.

Hougang and potong pasir i am sure will welcome the upgrading....
If the money comes from PAP pocket, I have no issue. But...It is the PEOPLE' money!!!! In that case, can they dont pay taxes if their area is not upgraded?
I am happy that they have the courage to say no to this carrot.

The Gomez affair....integrity over a form????....pleeeese....
