Look at him,everyday talk rubbish on TV n newspaper.If we compare his attitude now with his intelligence in the 70's n 80's,he is like a piece of Sh!T now.What make thing worse is he keep intervene Mainland China n Taiwanese affair,n he keep boot-licking those Chinese Communist!!!Really Sucks!!!!

China is a rising market force and power not to be reckon with as it concern the impact of the whole Asean or even Pacific region. I dont see boot-licking here.. but diplomacy at work. The chinese leaders hold him in high esteem and respect therefore his strong relationship with them will be able to aid Singapore to greater economic prosperity and one of the way to help the nation's poor get out of poverty. LKY was good when he was young.
However, he is not psychic. He doesn't know all. His team back then was dynamic.
Look at his young advisors today. They are full of enthusiasm because of the mega salaries but they don't have the talents of the old guards.
The young team in the cabinet are not people managers. They are movies of the week. After a while, nobody remembers who they are or what they did.
No man is an island. If he had let the old guards stay on as long as he is, I believe Singapore would be a much better place today.
