Saying is one thing, doing it is another matter.
The government wants to increase our birth rate, so that it doesn't
burden the economy. What has been done to help? Looking at the
number of women being sacked or retrenched once they are pregnant,
it tells much of how much they have been doing. Throwing money is
of no use, it doesn't help long term, but short term only. PAP has
always been proud to say that they are forward-looking, but when it
comes to such issues, they are not willing to compromise.
