What has made you so myopically
prejudiced towards Malaysia, and to speculate that those robbers
are Malaysians - unscrupulously robbing Malaysians and foreigners
alike (not necessarily Singaporeans only) ?
By some misguided policies, and careless governmental response
towards illegal immigration, this has resulted in the uncontrolled
increase in foreign nationals from Third World Countries - some of
whom resorted to criminal activities.
You will probably appreciate the
Malaysian Police more when you can "fix" a speed ticket and not
accumulate any points that will cause you to be barred from
driving.
Are the Malaysian Police that hopeless ?
Have you forgotten how quickly the Royal Malaysian Police was able
to track the 'One Eyed Dragon' as soon as he crossed the border
after emptying five bullets in the early morning shooting incident
at Serangoon Central ?
Malaysia is a much bigger country than Singapore, and with limited
resources and manpower, the Royal Malaysian Police is stretched
thin - yet the impossible can happen.
They have a very efficient Crime Squad that has an impressive track
record in ambushing and wiping out criminal gangs across the
country.
Some of the gangs were wiped out when they put up useless
resistance with the Royal Malaysian Police in a last ditch
spectacular fire-fight.
