Anyway...I sold my 1999 Dec registered Korean Kia 1.5 last year cos I work in town area..near to MRT..parking in town is superbly expensive..ERP everyday...is Kia 1.5 good..?? (Are you eyeing the Mentor or Sephia...)

Driven it to KL, Malacca..so many times..no problem...it is a Mazda engine...easier to maintain..If you intent to buy manual..install a Surbo for better pickup and fuel consumption.

So far for two-half years no problem..

Korean car is good for Budget conscious guy like me...

I feel that Korea car are okie nowsaday. Maybe 10 yrs ago, I'll advise you not to get it. But now, technology is getting better thus it should be okie to drive one.

U R right...Korean cars cannot make it ten year ago..but now they are catching up fast and furious..look at TV, LCD monitor, Handphones even better than NOKIA..tried one from LG phone yesterday.wow the screen and color is wonderful..menu keys very identical to NOKIA..POLYPHONIC ringtone nokia is still far behind..talking abt HUMAN TECHNOLOGY..NOKIA is stiil lacking

Kia Rio is not that good as compare to Kia Mentor..Rio is cute, small..but read some car magazine and you see Y??? Question
