If telling A LIE is a criminal offense, perhaps the POWER OF ONE
should first make a sworn statement that no one in its ranks has
ever told a LIE in their entire life.
Even if the supposed LIE is one as perceived by MM LKY, it could
just as well be an honest mistake as seen by James Gomez.
The fact that James Gomez made two visits to the Election
Department clearly shows that he could not have been lying, and
would be simply a muddle head in keeping his brief case in
order.
From the CNA News Camera on site at the Election Department - and
not the CCTV footage - it showed James Gomez waving his forefinger
- from SIDE-TO-SIDE as to indicate 'No, No, No' - and not in any
finger pointed threatening way.
"Consequences" ?
What were the actual "consequences" that James Gomez had actually
said that is so threatening ?
Or is the mere mention of the word "consequences" in a reminder
statement to the Officials to be considered a word that is
threatening by itself ?
Any parent or teacher will have to be very careful when using the
word "consequences" in any statement when disciplining any
children, as by extension of the James Gomez saga, it can be
construed to be threatening too.
How many times have the POWER OF ONE reminded Singaporeans of the
"consequences" of voting for the Opposition, or putting their votes
in a mistaken way ?
Did the POWER OF ONE threaten Singaporeans to vote in favor of the
incumbent Ruling Party - which explains for the status quo of 82
seats to the incumbent party, and 2 seats to the Opposition
Parties, despite an increase of votes given to the Opposition
?
