If the govt wants to track you down, it is so very easy. With
NRIC and computer database, your health, medisave, cpf, credit card
expediture can be easily tracked. For suspects who may be prone to
committing crime, their computer and phone can be easily tapped, as
illustrated in the GOmez affair.
Very soon, where we are can be tracked by an improved GPRS system.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong on this. The credit card
contains chips where scanners installed at strategic locations can
detect them. Singapore will be the most advanced nation where
everyone's whereabout is tracked.
