You want aljunied to become the next hougang or potong pasir? Go right ahead, vote the other party! Laughing

iori8888 SG

PAP are singaporeans. Exclamation
Potong Pasir & Hougang not PAP, not singaporeans. Shocked

After his walkabout with his GRC team at Hougang Mall, Foreign Minister George Yeo warned that if the Workers' Party wins in Aljunied GRC, Aljunied will be 'dismal like Hougang, in terms of upgrading, physical appearance, cleanliness, orderliness, in terms of level of business opportunities, even in terms of property prices'.

Lol, u depressed by SDP ??? Mr. Green

reyes SG

if we are all singaporean why ppl in hougang and potong pasir have to bear the unfair treatment by the ruling party to deny them flats upgrading and lift upgrading which all of them plays and equally impt role and contribution in singaporean economy. are we promoting singaporean differentiation here?
i stay in the west, but i feel this is not what a gentlemen should do. do we indeed have a gentlement and gracious party? do they still claim they have a world class govt but using these 3rd class political tactics.
tink for yourself singaporean.

snow leopard SG

saw on TV today how Low Thia Khiang and Eric Low shook hands, made their rounds together and received the TV news crew together. this is what i call sportsmanship and real gentlemen. they truly demonstrated "we are all singaporeans" ... if only Eric's bosses can show the same level of magnanimity and not persecute and destroy their opponents until they have to flee the country ...

last year there was an Indian MP who asked the opposition suporters to support him like they are all singaporeans. i hope this MP can similarly support Low Thia Kiang in his efforts to freshen up Hougang and not use it as a "beauty and beast" issue in the next election.

blazon SG

agree.
everyone's working for a better singapore future.
if sg carry on current way, diificult to progress as one "people".
look at the oppositions, gracious in defeat.

If the ruling party's mindset remain unchanged, Aljunied is going to be disected b4 the next GE. Just like Cheng San GRC, Anson.

Ever wonder why the percentage of votes are consistently at 60 plus to 30 plus percent? Laughing
