Lowclassman SG All ministers' salaries are not just over a million or two. I'm sure they are getting more than what we've thought. You will be surprised if they are willing to disclose their salaries to the public genuinely.
^MaRcUs^ SG You guys mistaken something!! MPs and Ministers are supposed to be voted by us to serve the nation, servents of the People.... If u need to use $$$ to attract the elites... I question their loyalty... they are striving hard for $ not for us!
giggs011 SG let me ask u... what is the pre-requiresite that a MP shd have? ANS: passion to serve the country and pple. if our current MPs are being influence by the commercial sector, then pls get out as yr priority in yr head is not abt helping the pple and country to develop but insteaad wat u earn...
blazon SG You seriously think ALL of them can earn as much outside? Moreover, this is about serving people, not about running a company or making money. And you don't get that kind of safety "umbrella" when you work for company.
countdracula SG before the huge payrise, there were a number of ordinary mps who earned more. maybe it’s the envy thing…...
king108 SG Are you saying we had talent no willing to serve singapore like those you mentioned?..Can name them? I wish they will reconsider to serve us with their existing pay, they must be good.
Aveme SG correction MM Lee built the nation not PM Lee. Now we are paying PM LHL so much to fix the opposition?
