Then CNA can kiss their ass bye bye.

Now I see the word sue going around

Usually a formal warning is given

Censorship only applies to SG... The foreign press wrote articles on SG, and did not want to publish the govt's reply... Dun they have censorship as well? Aren't those from the West?

Pronewbie SG

Did Chee Soon Juan get a formal warning?

The local media is bias in its reportings of the election. its unbelievable. The local media should be banned from reporting on the elections. They are taking sides here. there is no objective reporting.

Pronewbie SG

Will update soon on the rallies tonight if other places have them on audio/video/pics.

I won't be linking these websites cos that'd be sabotaging them. What I'll do is give direct links to the streams, which I reiterate, is not unlawful.

notice media only chiam pixs managed to look reasonable in the papers. others oppo pixs are very gloomy angry and give out a hooligan feeling. pap pixs are all smileys they smile, people smile, also show lots of crowd.

mabbe the reporter covering chiam has balls.

I was watching Low TK's speech on TV.

I noticed CNA camera man intentionally point the flashlight at WP's Low from bottom up.

I am a photographer, I know when you do that with the lighting, the subject will look very fierce and evil. And this was exactly how Low looked on TV !!

I can't believe civilised people would even resort to this sort of dirty trick ! Shocked

The attempts at media bias is childish and an insult to Singapore.

I notice that too!

and I have taken corrective action against it:

Now I spend at least 15 mins each day going through the newspaper with my papers, highlighting the unfair coverage given to the opposition parties.

anyway such blatant bias will turn people off.

nightzip SG

Hi

Yah its my first time to attend an election rally even though WP was not contesting in my area. I was very very impressed with the number of people who attended. From as far as my eyes can see, there are nothing but seas of heads and there were numerous people waving the WP flags.

I even heard an elderly man shouted at a young reporter taking photographs at the crowd "Take photo must publish ahz! If never publish, just scram!" Laughing

I also overheard people saying LHL should come see this, he'll be pissing scared. Laughing

Pronewbie SG

He has seen it. In the past more people went to rallies.. But that did not translate to votes..
