This is rather difficult. George Yeo, a man who exudes a calm of capable honesty. It is indeed unfortunate that his ward is the one which is most hotley co...

TooFree SG

For me I choose ...

Lee Kuan Yew, Lee Hsien Loong, Teo Chee Hean, Ng Eng Hen, George Yeo Yong-Boon, Yeo Guat Kwang, Vivian Balakrishnan, Lily Neo.

They are all charismatic, elegant and compassionate leaders whom are also men & women of upmost integrity in my opinion.

Who is your favourite? ... Give name and reason. Mr. Green

ditzy SG

I also think myself as charismatic, elegant and a compassionate leader whom is also someone of upmost integrity in others opinion. But quite frankly, no one gives a fcuk. Laughing

pikamaster SG

hmmm, really?

In My opinion,

1) LKY is charismatic and elegant, but not too compassionate; look at how fierce he was to the youth!!

2) LHL remains to be seen.

3) Teo more or less screwed up our education system, and has THarman to continue tt legacy.

4) Ng is not very compassionate in slicing CPF...

5) I'll support you on George Yeo.

6) YGH, I dunno.:S

7) Vivian: if he had more compassion, he wud scrap the casino, oh ya and stop using foolish arguments like "Singaporeans are mature enough."

Cool Neo is a foreigner, or was at least... what might she know abt local afffairs?

aft) And why not we vote for our fav WP leaders/candidates as well? why restrict to PAP? You mean LTK and CST no good?? Exclamation

Typical Foreign Talent, Dear Folks........

SG,LauBaiXing SG

Hi, Kaka_22,

siaokao SG

Dun pray pray.. u should check-out the cars she has.. sure make u wet! Laughing

SG,LauBaiXing SG

So what ?
I don't owe her my living !
Her car brand name is Buki Ma.

I do not know how Lily Neo performed as a minister but her reply on TV today with regards to the opposition party's plan to open a free clinic for the needy really turned me way off.

She said in a pretty pissed and emotional tone that it is sad that the oppo do not know their ground and come up with this idea when PAP had implemented it in the past in this same area and closed due to too few patients.....and saying that it is irrelevant.....

Irrelevant? That is not part of people's need? The PAP's free clinic may not have done well and closed in the past means that it is for certain that it is not needed now?

ditzy SG

The pap MPs always give standard answers one like:"we've walked the ground longer than the opposition.". Laughing Sounds familiar right? If I need a repeat telecast, I'll turn to mediacorp.

Reason? You know why. Laughing

PAP Old Guard : Dr.Toh Chin Chye.
He fought with his life and he is a humble man !

katatonic SG

NONE! I used to have lot of respect for LKY…but not anymore. not even a tiny bit!

fymk SG

Lee Kuan yew
BUT he deserves my respect for being able to utilise capable people - foreign and local, to build a tiny developing nation into a first world country. - personally I don't really like him

Goh Chok Tong - he tried his best .

When I say foreign - I meant the real foreign talent like the israelis who set up our defences and the dutch economist who advised Singapore on how to improve economic growth with ports etc.

I don't mean the foreign talents now - they are useless and a waste of space when there are alot more Singaporeans who can do their job.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

I only choose LKY and Tharman.

fymk SG

Lee kuan Yew is the only leader in your above list.

If we're not restricted to just ministers, or even current MPs, then my vote goes to Tan Soo Koon.

Fair, balanced, and always asking pointed questions that all the other spineless backbenchers never dare to ask.

Unfortunately, like a couple of really talented old guard, he has left (not sure if voluntarily or because he was sacrificed in the name of post-65ers).

Too many of the old guard have fallen on their swords this GE. I know PAP must stay young and relevant, but the young need old hands to show them the ropes, not just a selected few of the inner cabal.
