Class action by donors of NKF - will it be permitted?

Ever think what will happen if class action allowed in RTC case will ever be allowed in other cases.

Don't you think the judges will have a hard time in considering any class action in NKF cases?

If it is permitted then citizens might perceive class action cases as the way to force a review or hearing on policy errors or mistakes like the NKF cases to counter establishment's reliance on defamation suit to stop potential queries by the citizens or allegations of perceived wrong doings or policy errors.

What will be the impact of allowing a class action in NKF ? Will it not increase the people's power and ability to force fair and open hearing of major policy errors or mistakes and cause big changes to our political landscape vis-a-vis defamation suits on those alleging policy errors or wrongs.

If Class Action is permitted, perhaps a test case could be launched to protest against the many legislations that the POWER OF ONE has instituted that NEGATED the many portions of the Singapore Constitutions that gave Singaporeans the FUNDAMENTAL POLITICAL RIGHTS that other FIRST WORLD COUNTRY enjoyed.

The POWER OF ONE has abused the trust that the Singapore Citizens have given to them by using their SINGLE PARTY DOMINATED PARLIAMENT to pass legislations during the last FORTY-FIVE YEARS that nullified the many provisions of the Singapore Constitution that guaranteed Singaporeans to a level of Social and Political Rights that is equal to that of the FIRST WORLD.

Afterall, the Singapore Constitution was modelled after the English Constitution, and was prepared by the Colonial Rulers of Great Britain; while it was allowed to work during Colonial Times, why should it NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK as in its original text now that we are INDEPENDENT ?

I guess class action can only be started by members of an organization or people associated in a certain class or a cause with a locus standi.

It may be more difficult to put up a class action suit to question the state on breach of constitutional laws or provisions.

Nevertheless class actions will be a more practical method to protect ordinary consumers or members against excessiveness in implementation of policies or laws by certain organizations.

It will be a more practical way to pool limited individual resources together so that collectively they could exercise their common rights more effectively to check on monopoly power of larger organizations.
