If that is the case, I wonder how many Singaporeans do PM Lee & MM Lee want to sue? Or do they want to create a new Guiness record, by suing a record number of Singaporeans? Suing the whole family of the common people? I think there is not enough space in the court, if there're a large number of people passing the newsletter on to someone else to read.

Then the headlines will be: Record number of Singaporeans getting sued for passing SDP newsletter.

I think it's kind of difficult to prove what CSJ just said about the government.

I think he has no other choice but to take the hardcore route to make known to Singaporeans of what is happening...

To think that many Singaporeans think that CSJ is a looney...If one can think deeper, just what benefits can he reap from all this? He was a lecturer with wife and kids. He's got high opportunity costs in getting himself into this. But he is still taking the tough route. I think he's a true blue Singaporean!

I share some sentiments with u. Thats why i opend a thread asking is csj that a big hooligan out to destroy singapore? he couldve just live out his life as a middle class white collar worker. or even go abroad.

though he couldve taken a more tactical approach to ask for transparency. afterall he is playing in the ruling party territory. i think his growing personal vendetta is his downfall.

i dont think he could do anything much. a case of too smart/educated for his own good to challenge the system. heck even a president, put in power to bring checks into the system, couldnt do much...

The papers reported that PM Lee said he heard about the newsletter, requested for one and was given a copy...

In this case, shouldn't the person who pass him a copy be sued?

Perhaps SDP or anyone who as a copy should just drop it on the floor, allow another person to pickup and read... but then, they'll be fined for littering (better than being sued for bankruptcy)
