Karl Marx - the father of Communism - once said that "Religion
is the Opium for Man's sufferings" .
While I do not wish to get into any controversy with any religious
faiths and their faithful flocks, it remains true that Man depend
on Religion as a crutch in his journey into an unknown future,
which along the way has too much potholes and pitfalls that will
either shatter or strengthen his character at the end of that
journey.
There are those who are strong in body, mind and spirit, will
transcend the mundane issues of religion, and who will be abled
lay-leaders of the Community; while those who are feeble and weak
minded will end up being the minions to be led and shepherded like
aimless sheeps.
Can sheep think ?
Is the Pig more intelligent than the sheep ?
Is the Dog more superior to the Pig ?
In the heirachy of the Animal World, even the Elephant is afraid of
the Mouse; and the Lion stay clear of the Elephant.
A capable Leader is one who will be able to understand the
strengths and weaknesses of every animal, and mobilise them to
serve his own ends.
Depending on one's perception and experience, this could be an
inspirational or a sad outcome of Man's History - (as was seen
during WW-2 and the aftermath which followed that period ) .
