By degrading the people who 'follow' the opposition as the
'MOB', are you claiming a high moral ground for yourself? Are you
claiming that because of figures based on slanted election polls,
the majority of people vote the PAP and therefore like yourself,
stand inside this high moral circle while the rest are mere
rabble?
How condescending that you would even label your fellow citizens
who choose a different voice as the 'MOB'. Is it wrong to consider
an alternative proposal? Is it wrong to consider your
options?
Isn't it the same in the business world? To consider other
alternatives rather than simply be seduced by the offer of ONE
client? Doesn't transparency dictate that your obtain 3 quotes
before deliberating on your choice? How different is it here?
No one disputes the fact that the Ruling Party lifted us from the
doldrums. But you are NAIVE to think that
ONLY the
Ruling party could have done this. The history of the Ruling Party
is littered with their fair share of mistakes and political
scandals (unlawful imprisonment of Chia Thia Poh for 32
years under the abuse of the ISA) as well as corruption, just like
ANY party in the world:
The late Teh Cheang Wan, then Minister for National Development,
was driven to commit suicide when it was revealed that he had taken
bribes for the construction of Housing and Development Board flats.
Another official Wee Toon Boon was also punished severely for his
role in a corruption case. Glenn Knight, a former public
prosecutor, was charged and convicted for corruption in a business
deal. During his case, Knight suffered a massive heart attack and
was incapacitated for a period.

And the
LHL Scandal is just a reminder of the power welded by the
ONE.
You should be LAUDED for steadfastly
standing by the 'incorruptable' Ruling Party despite all these
GLARING skeletons which remain UNANSWERED and
totally IGNORED.
