Garment hospital has yet to provide billing tariff to the public while private hospital had already done it although it was on volunteer basis to disclose charges.

So why aint garment hospital taking the lead, setting the standard? Or are they over charging all these while & inefficiently run?

In fact, it is the figures for private hospitals that are not accurate:

"The figures quoted are based on actual bill size data submitted by the hospitals. The bill sizes for public hospitals are complete and include all charges including doctors' professional fees.

The data for private hospitals, however, may not be complete as not all doctors' professional fees may be fully accounted."

if only the polyclinics will make known or quote the prices of medicines, without so much fuss, similar to the billing system in hospitals will enable the public to compare prices and decide.

Todate, cannot find out the cost of the Ventolin inhalers. first told that the prices cannot be quoted over the telephone, next was told to produce a perscription at the Toa Payoh Polyclinic.

Can anyone less, please check from other polyclinics and share the price of the Ventolin inhalers?
