Ok. So i am confused.
So to be a minister, MUST be MP. but it doesn't matter if the MP is
of the same party right?
Because canada have ministers of different parties but they are
MPs.
It doesn't matter, however , which party would volunterily elect
members of other parties to be ministers ?
In the case of Canada , im unsure of what system its under,
however, under the Westminister System, which singapore falls
under, such a case only happens when a coalition government is
formed.
That happens when the there is no clear majority in the votes and 1
party forms an agreement with the other party, they "pakat" to form
the new gov.
When that happens , they choose a leader from 1 of the 2 parties
and the ministers will be chosen from both parties.
