Gazelle SG I personally dont think you can find a better city than singapore. Singapore is one the the best place to live and party. Do you agree?
Salman SG Singapore very convenient and safe. I like US but don't like the security and cold. You can get screwed or mugged just walking down the street. I once went drinking with strangers in a pub and they took me for a ride. The next day I told my colleagues about it and they were shocked!
Gazelle SG I got mugged once when I was in memphis. But I told the black dude that if you dont want be to show you some kongfu, you better beat it...
Gazelle SG cost of living is relative but the beauty of Singapore is that you dont have to live in the city if you choose not to. Mee Pok in town cost your 3.50 to 4.00 if you go to the outskirt you can have it at 2.50....to me thats a damn good deal...
ellisbeck SG Is there any country where everything is perfect? A perfect paradise? And if there is one, wouldn't everyone flock there and ruin the place and it would no longer be perfect anymore? What I am trying to say is that it's the same everywhere. Just like in any thing, any country can never be perfect. It would be good in some ways and be a tough act to follow nevertheless. Just appreciate the good, minimise the experience with the bad, and enjoy life - it is short anyway.
alwaysdisturbed SG mayb i dun c the gd for u guys gd for me... different individual, different perspective...

If you are a season traveller - whether to the US or Timbuctoo, you should know better then to be drinking with strangers, AND thereafter allowing these strangers to take you for a ride. If you are 'screwed' or 'mugged' by these American 'strangers' - we should not be seeing your participation in this thread. Are you trying to smoke us with some smoked salmon tales ?
BillyBong SG Singapore has the advantage of being small which therefore translates to easy policing and govt management. People tend to forget the turbulent years of the 1950s and 60s before independence, before the 'Lightning' struck. To their credit, the PAP have successfully transformed our island state and recognized our most valuable talent - manpower. The downside is that they have also created a place choke full of laws that come close to strangulation and a constitution which they amend at will. We are certainly a SAFER city for it. But a 'best' place to party? Unlikely.
robertteh SG Failure is caused by lack of determination than talent. Life can only be understood by looking backward But it must be lived by looking forward.
ndmmxiaomayi SG In terms of safety, yes Not quite sure about the factors, sometimes hate them, sometimes like them. Party? I would stay away from that.
Chelzea SG v No lah,i eat only e $2 one............$2.50 so bloodly ex ... Even better ,eat sch mee pok ,only $1.50 nia
Gazelle SG no really lah. the live music scene there is pretty dead, performers cant have long hair. furthermore it is damn dangerous for a women to go out or drive alone at night.
Gazelle SG minus the drugs I would say so. And I can see that it is getting better every year. When the IRs are ready, Singapore will be one of the hottest place in the planet.
