But yes, Russian society is corrupt. It is resource rich and have many talented people but mafia money keeps pumping money out of the country. I heard on BBC that at least USD 10 billion was pump out of Russia by mafia every year.

A Political System - created by ONE that you favor and protect so zealously - is also filled with 'TALENTED PEOPLE' - who is intelligent enough to operate WITHIN the Law.

It has also "keeps pumping money out of the country" too - MONEY that is collected using the MAFIA methods of monopoly forcing competition out by its own sheer weight of brutal size that trample innocent and hardworking enterprise.

Co-incidentally, Singapore also saw $10 BILLION being pumped out of our Country - with an additional unreported $600MILLION into an Employees' Endowment Fund that benefit a limited number of persons on the payroll.

Can the BBC risks itself into libelling the Singapore Government ?

The Singapore Government has been clever enough to use MAFIA tatics to politically and economically suppress the Singapore population to succumb to their will, and have used MAFIA tactics to terrorize anyone who dare oppose their monopoly position.

Even the Japanese YAKUZA has gone legitimate, and so is the MAFIA in trying to put on a new Corporate face.

Let's ignore the whiners and quitters then.

Let's talk about polytechnic graduates who wants to go to local universities. But how many can get in each year? 1800 odd poly graduates can get in. Out of the 20000 odd poly graduates we produced. Isn't that too little?

We are forcing lots of polytechnic graduates out to overseas to study and work where their talent is appreciated. Even PM Lee has admitted that. And some of these polytechnic graduates who studied overseas never came back. They came back to visit their relatives during festive seasons.

And that rule that you only can study a certain degree if you are only of a certain diploma never changed, although that criteria has already been laxed a bit. Why can't a diploma holder be a doctor? Can't a diploma holder who studied biomedical science be admitted to medical college? They also studied biology, chemistry and physics. In this way, we only produce graduates of a certain field only. What's the use of education then if we want graduates to be proficient in a certain field yet knows little about other fields? That's why lots of diploma graduates are going overseas whereby they can study other things other than that subject only.

The aim of education is to produce well-rounded individual, skilled in their area of expertise as well as other areas so that they can easily change to another area if they no longer want to work in that area.

Victors write the history books and absolute power enables you to put in your own "checks and balance" and laugh or sue the head off anyone who suggest otherwise. That is the greatness of absolute political power and it applies across the world. That is why democratic countries have a time limit rule(two or three terms, depending) so that no one can entrange themselves in a indispensable position.

Thats why we study geoigraphy, maths and history in school.

And answer my question: Why can't a person who graduated with a diploma in biomedical science go to a medical college? They study about the same things as an A Level graduate.
