A national agency to fight new corruption -moral corruption?

The no. 1 problem with the country in the 1960s - 1970s was corruption.

Today the problem is not monetary corruption but moral corruption.

Don't we need a national agency to fight moral corruption - e.g. board of directors or higher authorities working in collution to get benefits for themselves like higher salaries, bonuses and directorships etc etc. at the expense of the public and shareholders.

There are already two system in place. - CPIB and Independent Audit Team.
If you have doubts on the above mentioned, I would like to hear more.

Do you think CPIB and Audit team have the powers, - legal and the prerequisite administrative - to handle such moral corruptions effetively.

Will the NFK types of wrongs end up compromised by some legalistic justifications e.g under existing laws the board of directors or CEO cannot be prosecuted?

You can't control the mind.

Monetary corruption is a kind of moral corruption because one wants gains for himself, not to help others. So I think CPIB is enough.

I didn't know that this law exist (board of directors or CEO can't be prosecuted). It is a ridiculous law.

CPIB has the legal power to investigate and prosecute any case, but the exercise of such powers is subject to the administrative power of higher up whether to indict or not.

Why would the higher up not give the green light when the investigation had shown criminal intent.

I am only stating that indictment decision is administrative and subject to the higher up giving the green light.

they can never do any wrong….constitutionally that is…any time they fancy something, they simply just pass the bill in parliment….

It is true that there will be no wrongs as at the most wrongs would look less wrong with some more bills put up to the parliament to lessen guilt inefficiencies or past mistakes.

It is like wayang kulit - just for show. Can wayang kulit equal the real show?
