Salman SG Isn't this thread about the schorlar system? Whats wrong with this system? Isn't it being practiced in countries all over the world? Why would we need a lazy dumbo to run the system?
redstone SG System used all over the world? Not all schools judge students entirely on results. Take NAFA, Lasalle for example. Your Art talents are most important. Also, used by many places doesn't neccessary mean it is right.
Salman SG So how do you measure talent objectively? Kindly explain how we can adopt and apply what laselle does.
redstone SG We can't, that's why have to do it case-by-case basis. For example...... Student A has an national award. Student B has a school award. Which one is higher? Obviously the national award.

redstone SG What I mean is talent should be considered on case-to-case basis. You can't completely ignore it.
redstone SG They should. But they don't. Now, talent and other achievements are completely ignored for Poly/JC admissions.
