Hi,
Yes, the concept of assemble in Thailand car is inferior to that of
Japan, but it may not be, though we cant blame many pple who think
this way.
Honda has a name to hold for themselves, and they would not want to
tarnish their own reputation by giving an inferior car. To put it
simple, the quality of the car is as good as those in Japan, but
due to the fact of lower managing cost in Thailand, the car is
somehow slightly cheaper than those of assemble in Japan.
Anyway, all the parts are from Japan still I believe. Was in the
past, not too sure now.
Of cos, if you have the extra few thousands to spare, go for the
assemble in Japan car if it make you feel better.
Lastly, the Jazz and City are using the same I-DSI engine. The Jazz
is using a 1.4 wheras a City 1.5. That's why I'm giving the vote to
City, heh, cos of its improved look bigger engine capacity, but
most importantly, slightly cheaper.
Me not too sure abt FIT and JAZZ though but I do know that FIT is
using 1.5 SOHC Vtec Engine and the JAZZ a DSI engine.
