Govt sector starting pay in Singapore (unlike other countries) is
normally 10% higher than private sector (more for those in
uniformed occupations), courtesy of our world-class government.
Somemore this year ERECTION year, sure got high high bonus one
lah!
Compared to private sector, i think Education sector is wasteful.
Join teaching to mold your own future (govt sector every year
increment, right?). Educate future generation? Just import from
other countries -- cheaper and faster mah. NTU still have the cheek
to propose buying 300 chairs at $2,200 each for their staff! No
wonder the fees keep going up! KNN, my chair costs $50, am i going
to be 44 times less productive than them?
