Nope, I am saying that much of the criticism of the govt are
simply nonsensical. As far as I am concerned, Robert Teh's
criticisms are nonsensical. He expects the goivt to micro manage as
if we are communists. I say let the companies decide whom they want
to hire. There are already quotas, levees and restrictions on the
hiring of foreigners. We do need them to increase competition and
lower costs. The world don't owe us anything like Robert Teh think
the govt owe us. We either compete or go bust in this global
economy.
I will ensure Robert that the govt will keep all jobs in Singapore
for Singaporeans if Robert can ensure that the world will buy
whatever we produce at the price we decide.
Singapore is very well managed and the govt should be given credit
for it. Many of the people who criticise our govt should go
overseas and see how other govts run their country.
