BillyBong SG It was confirmed by the police some time back. He was simply given a stern warning and let off. Story was covered in the papers and over the radio. http://www.singaporedatabase.com/newsinbrief.htm
dragg SG after what happened in the stock market (informatics, ACCS, citiraya, CAO) and NKF i take everything with a pinch of salt. no one and nothing can really be trusted.
av98m SG Maybe they discovered it was one of their own party members(at grassroots level) and decided that it'd be too embarassing to reveal his identity. Meanwhile the offender has probably been condemned and maybe sacked from the party? If it had been an opposition party member his/her face would have been splashed all over the papers and will likely be sued.
iveco SG Well, Singapore is probably the land with the most double standards in the world. Correct me if I am wrong.
av98m SG For people with right connections: losing or misplacing hundreds of millions=honest mistake or learning experience. For the peasants: same types of mistakes but involving only hundreds of dollars=firing, getting sued, paying fine , going to jail.
