I didnt' open my mouth. I typed.
second, I may not have time to read all the posts, or i might have
missed one or two but that does not mean i missed the point. Maybe
if you can direct me to a certain post that you think i should take
note of, point it out please.
dont make stupid unconstructive comments.
[/b][/quote]Sorry if you take my comment personally, but it is you
who say that "We are responsible for that", "It will be on our
conscience. our sin." and "if u let people die by the chair or by
hanging. you are the same as them.
A murderer." It is clear from the previous postings here that
before a person is convicted and hanged, there are police
investigations, court trials, judgement, appeal, and before a
person is finally sentenced to death. It is the whole legal
proceeding that ensure that law is enforced fair and just.
The argument here is whether the current judicial system can ensure
no wrong judgement, are police investigations thorough enough so
that no wrong guys are brought to court, and if it is better to
just jail murderer for life, or if hanging a good deterant.
It was also stated in one of the post that capital punishment is
not tit for tat. Besides, Revenge is only carried out by those who
are related to the victims.
In reality conviction is done by the jury or the judge, in
accordance with the law, and execution is done by professionals,
what revenge???
Are you responsible for those who were hanged in singapore?? it is
on your conscience?
