NTUC's Fairprice ventured into M'sia a few years ago. See what
happened? They can't make it there? Why? Obviously, they do not
have the support of then Dr M's gov. They can only take adv of
S'poreans. Membership got extra discount lah, link card lah, end of
year rebate lah... But their price is not any lower? (Go check out
Shen Siong's prices). They call themselves Fairprice? Are they
really fairprice or milking the cash cow?
Shen Siong has been opening branches after branches. The latest in
Clementi West. In a few more years, see if NTUC can still survive
if they don't review their strategies?
