When petrol is cheap and there is wastage, government taxes on
petrol to cut wastage.
When petrol goes up in price, and there is no wastage and economy
is down, we still maintain the high petrol prices causing
contractions of the economy.
When petrol goest up and up and there is pressures on profits and
recessions, the same high taxes remain causing contraction and
recessions and consequently unemployment.
Can't our economists among ministers and senior civil servants
advice how to relaxes high petrol taxes to avoid 3/4 tank stupid
rule and revive the economy in bad times.
By such creative government monies can go round the people many
more times and create more job and business opportunities. Come on
think out of the box and start managing the economy with open mind
and be entrepreneurial in your management. !!!
