It is exactly this kind of deplorable comments that serve only
to ruffle feathers but offers nothing new.
Clearly you personify that classic singaporean who lives by those
rules drilled in by our ruling party, prefering to look at the
gloss sheet than what lies beneath it. A walking sheep so to
speak.
Every country including ours has a system in place but there is
nothing wrong with tweaking it to better improve the conditions.
That is the job of the ministers and the citizens. It is this
relationship that improves the overall status, not one-way traffic.
When you implement a system for the people, who can provide proper
feedback: the minister or the people who use the system?
Why is critcism so hard to accept?
Worst, why are our own people irritated by complaints? Is life so
good in SG that they kowtow to our govt at every opportunity?
Are they blind to the rising costs of living? Is there any attempt
by the govt to moderate salaries to match these rising costs, or
offer rebates to combat such costs?
Are they aware of taxpayer's monies being squandered in
brand-naming exercises and then openly justified in public?
Do they recall promises made by the govt during the last elections
which have yet to materialise?
Is the implementation of the North-bound ERP the start of a rampant
ERP expansion throughout SG? Are we led to believe that the ERP
system has actually worked, based on the comments of the nerve
center bureaucrats who sit in their air-conditioned offices over
those who take the CTE daily?
Finally, given the air-tight conditions to go political, does the
average singaporean have even the slightest chance to compete
against the limitless resources of our ruling party or the
guidelines they have laid for political parties? Do
you find it a joke when men like Chaim See Tong
and Low Thia Khiang raise heartland issues which are effortly
brushed aside in parliment as trivial?
Because all i see in your response is nothing but
contempt.
