In worst case sceneraio need the ICJ to settle the problem if both sides cannot agree and argue over this(like the Pendra Bencra Case even now haven't settle the terms yet!!!) . Like that It may delay them of building the crooked bridge Smile But will it benefit us or not at all Confused

open bridge take 30 mins to open and 30 mins to close. for big ships to pass thru.

meantime what do the vehicles and people do, take 1hr coffee break and enjoy the scenery.

Actually, i agree a new bridge will do good, but the rationale for new bridge must be good and not just to get even with singapore.

This is wasting of time and would cause traffic jams at both side of the causeway!!! and this would cause air pollution and would be global warming if they do not turn off the engine and waste the petrol too!!!

Can some engineers explain how the water pipes will be re-connected. Also what happens to the pipes when the bridge is open for ships to pass through? Will the pipes be run under the sea? And who should bear the cost if they are? Will it be another issue in the making?
