Sardaukar SG As the title says, are you honestly surprised? This is Singapore.I may love the country, but the government.......describing my feelings towards the government policies is complex and would include both words of praise and words of hate as well as several vulgarities....
SevenEleven SG Remember the story in Romance of the 3 Kingdom? Cao Cao decides who should be made the next emperor of Han and who should be made the emperess. History repeats itself.

crazy monkey SG ... how come the press neber question Nathan qualifications ? did he meet the requirements to be president ?
ndsef SG I for one was not very surprised... given the strict regulations, very few in Singapore will qualify. In fact, those who qualify would probably not want to run as President anyway. Who wants to be tied down socially? If I am a CEO of a big corp, I would give up the President's seat for weekends with my family, and being able to go out without ISD people tagging along, plus able to go cheong KTV, HC etc...
798 SG be 'ah pu neh neh' is good, you know why? becos they can yoda the 2nd time walk-over for the election.
dragg SG i certainly wouldnt mind giving up my social life for the salary. imagine how the money will benefit your children.
