Yup I agree with you SDP is the worst opposition party in Singapore
as they like to talk rubbish without acting and go overseas want to
spoil the image of our government but actually is our country you
know! After that foriegners think that Singapore no good and don't
want to visit us. SDP really no brain and poor leadership and need
Chiam See Tong to restore the past glory back if he goes back for
the party chairman? Chee Soon Juan is a loser man!
It does not take too much effort to run down the Opposition
Party, as there are more then enough smoke caused by the Ruling
Party to blow into the direction of the Opposition, so as to
befuddle on-lookers about the effectiveness of the Opposition
Party.
Can the Opposition Party actually be stronger than the Ruling
Party, to the extent that it can unravel all the "effective works"
that the Ruling Party has done for Singapore ?
If the Opposition Party can so easily ruin Singapore's good name
overseas, then this "good name" of Singapore must be built on a
"stack of card" with little foundation !
The Opposition Parties only "talk rubbish without acting"
?
Just read the articles in the reference list below, and hopefully
you can gain an understanding of all the obstacles that the Ruling
Party has put in the path of the Opposition, to prevent the public
from being educated in the political process, and to prevent the
public from being involved and being aware of the Opposition's
politcal programmes.

Why is the Government a.k.a. the Ruling Party being so paranoid
with the idea of the Opposition Party holding public rallies
?
If the Ruling Party can conduct "election campaigning" through the
year, surely the Opposition Parties should also be allowed to do
the same ?
Yet the Police will be seen to show political preference towards
the "hands that feed them" - and will be less tolerant with
Opposition Parties attempts to hold public rallies:

If you read the articles offered, you will hopefully gain an
insight into how the Ruling Party abuse their position and
authority, to prevent other political parties from reaching out to
Singaporeans.
The Ruling Party probably does a better job to destroy Singapore's
good name, with the authoritarian control over the lives of
Singapore, where the Internal Security Act can be used to jail
anyone - WITHOUT any charges and NO trials - based only on the
"say-so" accusations of the Omnipotent Leader.

Whatever that is said by the Opposition - when in Singapore - will
seldom go into print, unless it is headlined news that are negative
to the Opposition's interests.
When the Opposition gets a chance to make a sensible speech
overseas, this is reported by the bias local press that will zero
in on the negative speech of the Opposition, but will leave out the
main body of the speeches made by the Opposition.
The entire population can only dpend on the broadcast media, the
daily national papers, and television - ALL of which are controlled
by the Government.
