NEL has been operating for 2 years now yet it is still hogged by serious stoppages that will occur intermittently. Just like 30th June, the packed train stopped nearly for 5 to 10 mins. It is damn frustrating like going to f*** SBS, especially you know the fare is increasing next day and such idiotic things will can occur. There must have a technical mess right behind that is concealed by superficially modern appearance of the system.

But what can we do but to rely on this stupid system. Looks like i have to shift out of NE area. I have enough of the SBS monopoly!

Where got? The most is Dhoby Ghaut for 1 min...

What monopoly??? If SMRT is running the line, to make it profitable, they will make it @ 7-10 mins as like their train line instead of the 5-7 mins... Though bleeding, they are providing more frequent trains...

And.. Fare hike? Your always like to talk that wages did not go up... Yes... But diesel cost have went up by 100% over the past yr... Wages, fuel, insurance all these make up the cost component...

Anyway... Most profitable? HK even more, those Cross Harbour Rts, they fare is S$2.06... And they are always full unlike in SG which of selfish Singaporeans that dun move in to the rear
