Wat's the point of having it... the ministers just talk talk and talk... Singapore spent millions on the event... In two weeks time, we will have the 117th IOC session, another millions is spent on this... The i tink we'll oso be having World Trade Organisation meeting.... MORE $$$ are spent

Wat is the point of organising these crappy things that cost us so much money??? Rolling Eyes

Lowclassman SG

Now China might be less friendly toward us already. So...boh bian lau goh have to go and friend friend with Middle East. Just in case, singaporeans kie hou lor, means go by alternate ways. Mr. Green

sgdiehard SG

Convention/exhibition is a big business, know what you are asking before you call these "crappy things", and don't assume that singapore are spending millions on these events!

singapore are making millions from these events and the more convention, exhibitions, conferences and meetings are in singapore, the better.

Any politics involved in this? again, don't jump into conclusion.

vito_corleone SG

sometimes you have to spend money to make more money..get it? Laughing

dragg SG

our govt is trying get a headstart in opening up investments in middle-east. it doesnt hurt having good relations with them.

vito_corleone SG

macjoe SG

Middle east reminds me of rich, filthy sheikhs.

Are their supply of western sex slaves dried up and they're turning to Asian
countries for their white skin? Nowadays, many Asian women use whitening cream.

Cool

HALI SG

where should i start. it all about making $$$.

ok more than 8 yrs ago, some ppl/company in SG had went to Middle East countries and start doing their business where other SG-rean are following the GOV, heading to China.

the group of ppl always move ahead of GOV? why? and why GOV follow behind this group of ppl? can't be sure are they on the GOV/PAP side but for sure the big bucks are in their pockets much more eariler than the rest following behind.

one thing for sure, this group of ppl do not like SG politician. politician in SG will like you to share with him what you have but will not share with you what he has. best part is there is only 1 politician in SG. the rest are just working for him and his families.

this group of ppl are now moving back into Asia like Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia even Myanmar and our GOV now going into Middle-East.
well i think as a citizen of that country you just have to follow where you GOV lead you to, even when it down the cliff.

Lowclassman SG

Very simple, all govt want is...let we people go there to clear obstacles first. If they sees good fruits are beared then they will come to grab it. Mad

ctstalin SG

How are we goin to make $$$ because of an IOC session, AMED and WTO conference... are we selling anything???? Rolling Eyes

vito_corleone SG
