TAF CLUB SUCKS BIG TIME

If you thin but never exercise do drugs, drink beer and smoke they still wont put you in TAF.Whereas if you are overweight dont smoke, drink or do drugs and still exercise they put you in TAF.So weight-centred.Can the MOE policy makers answer to their blantant bullsh*t policy that is crappy.

There are people in my school and other school who are thin but still smoke or some other vice than the teacher dare tell us their healthier just because they have less bodyfat

Our country is a small country n our politicians keep getting bully by other country's leaders,thus they have a "sympathetic feeling" towards thin ppl,as thin ppl= they themselves.They dont like fat ppl becoz fat ppl=big bully=other country leaders who keep on bullying them......Thats y our politicians favour thin ppl.Just my 2 cents. i was in taf club in sec 1 and the training was hell. run, excercise for 2hrs or something... in rather hot weather..

but i managed to lose enough weight to be yanked out of taf club in sec2 but i insisted on joining again.

if not for it. i would be having cardiac arrest now..

The way TAF is implemented is just wrong, especially in the modern context of weight loss.

TAF is the old way of losing weight- the old school system. The new system calls for, not just weight loss per se, but also overall development so as to ensure that the person or people under the new system don't lose their motivation and their self esteem.

And if you wanna lose weight, it's not just about running 2hrs non stop- it's about three things:

1) proper diet
2) weight lifting(light to moderate)
3) proper cardio

When you are losing weight long term, it's about jacking up your metabolism rate. This means that only running and purely running will not help you lose weight unless you start eating more healthly(and eating of your oily and favourite foods in moderation) and also do some moderate weight lifting.

Of course, I'm ain't advocating you become a big musclar monster, but to lose weight, you need muscles, you need a high metabolism rate and you need a proper diet(so as to include foods that help you burn fat, instead of storing more fat).

Ah, drug addicts need to exercise- if anything else to distract them from taking drugs. I have seen some smokers and gamblers being athletic as well.

But you are right, if anything else, TAF shdn't be just for those who are fat, but also those who are thin and also unfit as well. Nerds especially need to get out more. Exercise is one way to get them out of the computer rooms.

And it's not as if you now need a PC to surf the Net. if you gotta the dough, the latest Bluetooth handphone-cum-PDA can allow u to surf the net wireless anytime, any day.

Pple need to get out more.

well some people smoke and abuse drugs and are atheletic but sometimes they even get ill more often, wheareas some are fat but dont get ill so often.
The worst is those who are fat, drink and smoke and take drugs and always get ill.Thats really bad

Come on, those people who implemented this TAF program, admit it; this is a lousy and brainless idea! It's STUPID!

Amend it, or abolish it.
